Spider Chase 2018 Fort Ross Cabernet Sauvignon

This comes from the Waterhorse Ridge vineyard in the Fort Ross Seaview AVA, to our knowledge the most westerly planting of Cabernet in Sonoma. The nose opens with cocoa nib, deep currant, plums, light oak spice, and cigar box. The palate is lighter than in years past but still moderate in weight with well balanced flavors of currants, peppercorn, cocoa nib, plum, and oak spice. Delightful! D&M Tasting Notes
