Ridge Vineyards 2021 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

After the challenges of the 2020, it is wonderful to see the Ridge Cabernet return to its classic form. The nose is gorgeous with a balanced aroma set of cocoa, currants, cassis, plum, pepper, and sweet baking spices. The palate is moderate in weight and echoes the nose with good acidity and a flavor set nicely balanced between fruit, spice, and mineral notes. Drinking quite well now, and best for those that enjoy 'mountain / structured' Cabernet versus a low acid fruit forward style. D&M Tasting Notes
