Gurrieri 2022 Vittoria Frappato

This is from Vittoria, located in South East Sicily. Farmed organically, but they do irrigate because of the quite high daytime temperatures. This is a quite pretty and lifted iteration of Frappato with a wonderful nose and aroma set that is a mix of black flowers, pomegranate, strawberry, wild savory herbs, and a bit of clay spice. On the palate this is light on its feet with great acidity and a flavor set of mixed red berries, thyme and rosemary and just there clay minerality. D&M Tasting Notes
