Domaine du Chene Jean Doussoux Cognac XO Heritage

The Heritage pours a lovely amber color in the glass. The nose is rich with deep notes of dried apricot, raw plum, and almond notes. Charles Neal notes that while it has fully developed aromas, this Cognac still maintains its freshness. On the palate, a lovely almond note weaves its way among dried fruits, while the long finish becomes more complex with a subtle hint of smoke and herbs along with plenty of spice. Charles Neal Notes

It is made up entirely of Ugni Blanc, and the blend was assembled from barrels that held Cognacs ranging in age from 30-50 years. After assemblage, it came in at 43% alcohol by volume.
