Barr Hill - Caledonia Spirits Gin-Kosher

Aromatic and smooth! This is gin so of course you get the juniper berry, but it is balanced with the honey notes and floral. This like the vodka has a delightful creamy feel on the palate. D&M Tasting Notes 

The gin is a celebration of our special connection to the land. We use pure grain spirits as a canvas to showcase juniper berry and raw northern honey. Added just before bottling, the raw honey imparts unique floral qualities that vary with season and blossom. Distillery Notes

Green Bumble Bee

3 oz of Barr Hill gin

3 slices of fresh jalapeno

5 fresh basil leaves

1/2 a lemon, juiced

1 tsp. of raw honey simple syrup

Preparation: Muddle 2 slices of fresh jalapeno with 5 fresh basil leaves and the juice of 1/2 a lemon. Add 3 oz of Barr Hill gin, a teaspoon of raw honey simple syrup (1:1 warm water and honey), shake. Strain into a glass over ice, garnish with a slice of jalapeno and a basil leaf.  Cocktail courtesy of Tonique Epicure
