WhistlePig 10 Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey

This 100% rye whiskey shows remarkable delicacy and finesse. The nose reveals aromas of flan, lavender, and lemon peel turning to black pepper, slight citrus, and chalky on the palate. Wood character, while certainly present (as this whiskey is aged in charred oak for 10 years), adds pleasant flavors of butterscotch, sandalwood, and maple syrup without smothering the subtle soft talc and pepper notes of the rye.
