Troupis Winery 2022 Holy Mania White Wine

Moschofilero (mow-sko-FEEL-err-oh) is a pink skinned grape from the high altitude central Peloponnese in Greece.  Here the Holy Mania is a direct press white, meaning no skin contact before fermentation begins. This was a native ferment and saw very little sulfur during its time between vineyard and bottle. The nose shows the aromatic nature of Moschofilero with aromas of peach and nectarine, white flowers, and a delicate white pepper. The palate has good acidity with flowers, citrus and stone fruits and a lift of white flowers. D&M Tasting Notes
