Tesseron ‘Domaine des Bessons’ Heritage Cognac

Les Dames Jeanne. In the glass this Heritage has a deep amber hue. The nose shows aromas of a long aged spirit with prune, dried apricot, vanilla, and spice. The palate is present with a first wave of dried fruits and baking spices that gives way to a core of mixed spices and a hint of walnuts. The finish is soft, long, and highly pleasing. Up front, we wanted to mention a little bit about the name of this domaine. The historic name is Domaine des Bessons and it has been owned by the Tesseron family for five generations. Now: Tesseron is also the name of a well-respected négociant house in Chateauneuf-sur-Charente. This bottle and the Tesseron family has no connection with the larger house.
