Léguillette-Romelot "Triolet" Extra Brut Champagne

The nose opens with an aromatic set of yellow plums, pluots, apple skin, cream, and a bit of earthy Meunier notes. On the palate this is moderate in weight with flavors of cream, yellow plum, apple skin, and a just there spice note to finish. This is drinking well now, and will deliver joy through 2030. 68% Pinot Meunier, 28% Chardonnay and the balance is Pinot Noir. The initial fermentation occurs in stainless steel and this was aged for a full four years on its lees before being disgorged with a dosage of 5 grams per liter. D&M Tasting Notes
