Joshua is a second generation winemaker, and like the great makers of Bordeaux and Burgundy he focuses on great vineyards and treats the wine with a less-is-more winemaking approach. This comes from the Macedon Ranges in Victoria state (an hour from Melbourne)-- the coolest wine growing region in mainland Australia. The nose shows an aroma set of soft red berry, earth, cola, and dusty raspberry. The palate is light and lively with raspberry, cherry, cola and just there gentle earth.
