Istine 2019 Levigne Chianti Riserva

The 2019 Chianti Classico Riserva Levigne is a powerful, dense wine. As always, the Riserva is the most concentrated and potent of the Chianti Classicos. It's certainly a gorgeous Riserva, but I find more character in the other wines, while the oak imprint here is a bit on the heavy side. 93 points Antonio Galloni, Vinous June 2022
