Capezzana Barco 2020 Reale di Carmignano

This is a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet and Canaiolo that is grown on the site of a medieval era hunting preserve. The nose opens with cooking herbs, earth, Bing cherry, brambly blackberry and a light hit of oak / wood spice. The palate has a firm grip of tannins to it with a mix of fruit and non fruit and flavors of sage, earth, spice box and dark fruits. D&M Tasting Notes
