Glenlivet 16 Yr. Signatory Bottling Single Malt Scotch

This was distilled in mid-August 2006 and placed in a first fill Sherry Butt (probably Oloroso) as cask 900803. From there it was aged for 16 Years and one month amongst Signatory’s 10,000+ cask collection before being bottled in September 2022. We found the sherry notes present but quite balanced and hope that you very much agree. In the glass this pours a light amber color. The nose is filled with present aromas of sultana raisins, fresh threshed wheat, blondies, cinnamon, all-spice, maple and candied ginger. The palate has a power and weight to it with dried fruits– mostly yellow plums and raisins, blonde maple syrup, bar cookies, all spice and a nice earthy cinnamon to finish.
