Fumey Chatelain 2016 Arbois Vin Jaune

This is one of Jura's famed "yellow wines" and even though it represents 5% of the region's production, it is the on that is most often written about. The nose shows the oxidation that this wine went through with raw and toasted nuts, dried lemon and orange peels and a just there clove. The palate is moderate in weight with a great depth of flavor of nuts, dried citrus and stone fruits and a bit of minerality to finish. Try this with a high alpine cheese. D&M Tasting Notes
