Ettore Germano 2019 Alta Langa Sparkling Wine
This is grown in the same zone as Barolo and Barbaresco, but at higher elevations and with 25% Chardonnay and 75% Pinot Noir. Utilizing the Champagne method, this was aged on its lees for 30 months. The nose opens with quince, nectarine, light citrus, just there clotted cream, and some minerality. The palate is moderate in weight with cream, taut stone fruits, and a limestone minerality to finish. D&M Tasting Notes
