Doyard Vendemiaire Magnum Blanc de Blancs Brut Champagne

This estate is practicing, but not certified organic. This is primarily from Vertus with the balance from Grand Cru villages, with an average age of vines at 45 years. Mostly from 2018 with the balance from 2017 and 2016, initially fermented with native yeast in mostly Stainless Steal with some old oak, and kept on its lees for at least 48 months before disgorgement with a dosage of 4 gr/l. The nose opens with a bit of cream in addition to citrus, quince, and a cut of minerality. On the palate this is light and precise with a flavor set of cream, citrus, quince, and that cut driven style of minerality to finish. D&M Tasting Notes
