Domaine Laguille 20 Year Bas Armagnac

One of our colleagues called this breakfast Armagnac :-). A bit of dried fruits, fig, baking spice, wood shavings, orange peel and golden raisin. The palate has a softness to it, following the nose, with caramel and maple syrup, dried fruits towards apricot figs and raisins. D&M Tasting Notes

This bottle represents the work of Sandra Le Marechal, who joined Domaine Laguille after working in export relations with the BNIA (Bureau National Interprofessionnel de l’Armagnac.) She has focused on making Armagnac more accessible to the larger world of spirits drinkers. (That is why you may see some particularly non-Armagnac words on your bottle like small batch, hand crafted and non-chill filtered.) It is made up of 60% Ugni Blanc and 40% Baco and is a blend of 10 different barrels. It was bottled in 2019 after the proof was lowered to 45% ABV. Michael Kennel, D&M
