Cadenhead 11 Yr. Royal Brackla Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Distilled in 2011, and spent over nine years in an ex-Bourbon barrel. From there it was transferred to a barrel that had previously held Fino Sherry. It spent a little over a year and a half in that vessel before being bottled in September 2023. Royal Brackla is known for being a high toned whisky, and this one is no different. The nose shows pink grapefruit, sea spray, peach, dried apricots and cashews, and honey. The palate has an excellent texture to it with salted stone fruits, bitter aperitif, orange peel and raw nuts. There is a lingering salty finish from the fino cask. D&M Tasting Notes  46% ABV
