Aultmore 15 Yr. SMOS Bottling Single Malt Scotch

Distilled on June 26, 2008, and placed in a sherry butt. There it remained for 15 Years before being bottled by the Single Malts of Scotland on Dec 14, 2023. The nose opens with sultana raisins, cocoa, fresh and dried peaches and apricots, baking spices, caramel, maple syrup, freshly cracked black pepper, and a bit of salt. The palate showcases the richness of this bottling– this is a dessert whisky for sure with barrel forward notes of salted caramels, dried stone fruits, rum raisins, and plums.
