Vinhas do Lasso 2011 Garrafeira Tinto

This is a blend of 40% Aragonez, 30% Touriga Nacional, 20% Tinta Miúda and 10% Alfrocheiro, from the wine region just outside of Lisbon. It was fermented and aged in concrete and the Garrafeira designation is for wines kept at the domaine longer to age in bottle. The nose opens with notes of tar, cedar, spice, charcuterie , and balsamic. On the palate this is moderate in weight with spice, dried red and black fruits, balsamic and charcuterie. For those that enjoy well aged and balanced wines firmly in their secondary characteristics.  D&M Tasting Notes
