Le Machin 2022 SRH Pinot Noir

This is organically farmed and largely from the Spear vineyard in Sta Rita Hills. The nose opens with dark cherry, clove, raspberry compote, black tea, and oak spice. The palate has a presence to it with clove and barrel spice up front with deep cherry raspberry compote and Darjeeling tea. D&M Tasting Notes

Le Machin is a project by Mike Roth of Lo-Fi wines. Roth continues to stay true to his roots with minimal intervention and a gentle approach to fruit and extraction. He had a chance to work with CCOF organic Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Chardonnay from the Santa Rita Hills and he scooped up the fruit and Le Machin was born. Winery Notes
