Domaine Quentin Jeannot 2020 Meursault 1er Cru Poruzots

This producer is organic and located in Meursault. The initial fermentation is in stainless steel before being transferred to large oak barrels for the malolactic fermentation and where it is rested for 18 months. This site produced 300 bottles. The nose shows hazelnut, a bit of lemon oil, cool minerality, and a kiss of oak. On the palate, which is just shy of moderate in weight, the flavors echo the nose with hazelnuts, lemon, white fleshed stone fruits, and a just there oak note on the finish. D&M Tasting Notes
