Domaine Changarnier 2017 Monthelie Rouge 1er Cru Fulliots

This estate has been following biodynamic processes across their 5 hectare, this site is south south-east facing with shallow red clay topsoil and yields around 1500 bottles per year. It was aged for a year in 228 liter barrels with no fining and light filtration and low sulfur at bottling. The nose shows a delicate red cherry with forest floor, minerality and a savory tone. On the delicate just shy of moderate palate there is a up front blackberry and cherry tone that gives way to wonderful iron, earth, and cocoa flavors. D&M Tasting Notes
