25 - 30 Year Old, Pays d'Auge, Calvados. The Reserve de Semainville is a very special calvados whose age is between 25 and 30-years old. The color is beautiful deep amber with gold highlights. Sniffing the aroma is akin to smelling a baked apple tart that has recently come out of a wood-fired oven, where notes of buttered toffee, almonds, honey converge to the point of overloading the senses.  The palate shows plenty of complexity, with a soft, round texture that defies its age. The finish goes on and on, with waves of complex baked apple flavor caressing the palate and inviting another sip. Importer Notes
