Wonderland Two Kings Pinot Noir 2023

On the nose, ripe red berry and black cherry aromas are complemented by notes of forest floor and subtle oak notes. These attributes carry over on to the medium-bodied palate along with hints of earth, herb and umami. With well-integrated tannins and balanced structure, these flavors carry through to a quite satisfying finish. - D&M TASTING NOTES

TASTING: “Bing Cherry, Chaparral, Assam Tea Vineyard”

VINEYARD SOURCES: “The 2023 vintage is composed of 6 different vineyards from throughout Sonoma Valley and Carneros.  Los Chamizal is located at the foot of the Moon Mountain AVA, farmed organically and planted to clones 777, Mt. Eden and Wadenswil. Brooklime sits atop the western hills of Sonoma receiving rolling fog from the Petaluma Gap.  Durell Vineyard, Leveroni Vineyard, Gloria Ferrer all bring beautiful Sonoma valley floor energy to the blend.”

WINEMAKING: “The grapes were fermented in stainless steel open top tanks with anywhere from 0 to 50% whole cluster inclusion, depending on the lot. The wine was aged for 6 months in 100% neutral barrels and bottled on May 21st, 2024.”

ABOUT US: “The Wonderland Project was founded in 2010 by wine broker and former sommelier, Matt Ahern with the help of pedigreed Sonoma grape growers. The Wonderland Project produces Sonoma County Appellation Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from organically farmed vineyards in Carneros.
