Thomas Labaille L`Authentique Sancerre Blanc 2024

This comes from Labaille's 6.5 hectares of vineyards in the village of Chavignol, quite possibly the best village in Sancerre. The 2024 vintage was a cool to cold one, and while not easy for a winegrower, we found the result to be excellent. The nose opens with just there delicate notes of lime, tropical fruits, stone fruits, and a bit of white stone minerality. On the palate this is light with good but not racy acidity and a wonderfully balanced flavor set of citrus, lime, guava, white peach and zippy minerality.
