Selbach Oster Bomer Riesling Trocken 2023

This is sourced from the lower plots in the Grosses Gewächs, GG rated vineyard Schlossberg. Of note is that for a house known for their wines with balanced residual sugar, this has been made separately as a dry wine for years. The nose opens with aromas of delicate double cream, slate, spice, dried white flowers, and a just there citrus tone. On the palate there is a wonderful sense of texture with a mix of slate and wet stones that is nicely balanced by bright citrus and a lemon merengue pie note to finish. So very nicely done here.
