OVERVIEW: “Spanish for “fog,” la neblina rolls in from the Pacific Ocean to blanket and cool the coastal Pinot Noir vineyards of western Sonoma County. This is our flagship Pinot Noir, always a cellar favorite, and is comprised of a complex array of three organically grown West County coastal sites on Goldridge soil. With the extended growing season in 2023, we observed fully lignified stems across all three sites, prompting a 25% whole cluster inclusion. As winegrowers, our cellar decisions continue to evolve, and for the first time we chose to age the La Neblina components in both barrel and puncheon, to best capture the essence of these sites within the context of the exuberant 2023 vintage.”
