Pierre Martin Chavignol Sancerre 2024

While Pierre Martin has taken over from his father at the family's Yves Martin domaine, this project is from the 4 hectare of vineyards in he owns in Chavignol, our favorite village in Sancerre. All the parcels are farmed organically. The nose is precise and focused with pea shoots, wet stones, and just there fruit notes of citrus, white peach and the lightest suggestion of guava. On the palate this is light and lively with moderate plus acidiy and a zippy mix of minerality and delicate fruit notes. MK D&M Tasting Notes March 2026
