Peter Lauer Barrel X Riesling Feinherb 2025

This is the general appelation wine from the cult Peter Lauer, based on vineyards from all around the Saar river valley. This was fermented spontaneously with natural yeasts and has a touch of residual sugar. This is light and lively in the nose with aromas of citrus, stone fruits, a just there kiss of oak, and a bit of minerality. On the palate this has a excellent sense of texture with good acid and a flavor set that echoes the nose. MK D&M Tasting Notes June 2026
