Louis Forest "Le Mont des Chretiens" Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru 2017 1.5L

From a single site of Chardonnay in Écueil, this is done by Louis Forest, separate from the family's work at Forest-Marie. The nose opens with complex aromas of soft cream, apricot, mixed citrus zests, and a light hit of oak. On the palate this is just shy of moderate in weight with good acidity and a flavor set of citrus, clotted cream, tree fruits and a just there hazelnut and barrel note to finish. - D&M TASTING NOTES (MK, 10/2025)
