"The super bargain of the portfolio has to be the red 2017 Viña Cubillo Tinto Crianza, which this year shows more development and faster aging, with more tertiary notes than the other reds from 2013 and 2014 that I tasted next to it…It has notes of damp earth, mushrooms, truffles and forest floor, dry leaves and decayed flowers and herbs. WINERY NOTES:

TASTING: COLOUR - Clear, bright ruby. NOSE - Fresh and slight aroma to licorice with consistent texture and persistent aroma. TASTE - Smooth, fresh and persistent.
GRAPE VARIETIES: Tempranillo (65%), Garnacho (25%), Mazuelo and Graciano, the rest, all from our own vineyards.
AGEING PERIOD IN BARRELS: 3 years, being racked twice per year and fined with fresh egg whites.
AGEING PERIOD IN BOTTLE: Rest, unfiltered, bottled in 75 cl. bottles.
ABV: 13.5% Vol.
TOTAL ACIDITY: 6.5 gr/l.
RESIDUAL SUGAR: Very Dry.
GASTRONOMY: Perfect with all meat dishes, tapas and charcutery.
