Foradori IGT Teroldego 2024

Foradori has been a renowned, now biodynamic, estate in the Dolomites for generations. Teroldego is a varietal that has been planted in this part of the foothills of the Alps since at least the 1300s. It is a unique varietal that calls to mind a fresher higher acid style of Syrah (a genetic cousin.) The nose opens with an alpine edge with forest strawberry, black cherry, balsamic, spruce tips,  black pepper and violets. This is just shy of moderate in weight with zippy acid and a flavor set that echoes the nose. D&M Staff Tasting Notes Summer 2026
