Campbeltown Loch Blended Malt Whisky

This single malt blend is a creation of Springbank, one of the world's most iconic Scotch Whisky distilleries located in the small coastal town of Campbeltown. Springbank is a small batch producer that has been independently family owned and operated for nearly two centuries and, while it is most famous for its flagship brand, it also distills whiskies under the Longrow, Hazelburn, Kilkerran and Campbeltown Loch labels. - D&M INTRODUCTORY NOTES

OVERVIEW: “All five malts from the region’s three distilleries have been used to produce this Blended Malt. Matured in a combination of Ex-Bourbon and Ex-Sherry casks, vatted and bottled at Springbank Distillery, Campbeltown.”

TASTING: “NOSE - A distinct buttery note and characteristic hint of sea salt introduce this dram, along with notes of ginger loaf and pecan pie; PALATE - Creamy coffee, salted caramel, date syrup and crystallised brown sugar on the palate, with a subtle hint of peat smoke; FINISH - The peat smoke builds in the finish, with a leathery note developing over time. 46% ABV”
