Sab's Le Marc de Bourgogne Tres Vieux 500ml

This is one of the most elevated and distinct Marc de Bourgogne (basically aged grappa from Burgundy) that we have tasted in the last number of years. Made up of vapor distilled Pinot Noir pomace (spent skins and seeds) this was aged for eight years in ex-Cognac barrels. The nose is quite complex and so very interesting with a mix of honeycomb, light spice, dried citrus peels, cedar and a sandalwood. On the palate this is delicate and delicous with a set of flavors that well echoes the nose. D&M Staff Tasting Notes July 2026
