Domaine Pecheur Cremant du Jura Blanc Brut

This comes from an estate that started 50 years ago, with the current generation in place since the early 1990s. They farm organically without herbicides and pesticides, though they are not certified. This cuvee comes from three parcels of 100% Chardonnay that is aged on its lees for three years before being disgorged without dosage. The nose opens with light cream and a bit of lemon and white stone fruits, backed by a seam of minerality. On the palate this is light in weight with cream, citrus, stone fruits and minerality in excellent harmony. This is a dry, direct and delicious white that works with a great variety of dishes.
