TASTING NOTES: “Classic Napa Valley Cabernet in the old world style from this famous vineyard produces, deep garnet-purple colored, beautifully expressive nose of black cherries jubilee with hints of red stone fruits, cardamom and hazelnut notes. This wine transitions seamlessly into a beautiful red-blue-black fruit medley and through the mid-pallet and leading to the finish. There are hints of fresh cedar, black plum, bayleaf, bittersweet chocolate and anise. Full-bodied mouthfeel with muscular but smooth tannins and a long elegant finish.”

VINTAGE: “The beginning of the 2019 growing season was defined by lots of rainfall creating soil moisture that allowed us to skip early season irrigation. We had a warm summer that saw very few extreme heat spikes and beautiful foggy mornings, this set the stage for massively expressive wines. The remainder of the growing season was long and mild finish which helped to preserve freshness and finesse in the fruit. A fantastic long hang time growing season produced great color, structure and soft tannins. An exceptional vintage making wine with big fruit character with bright acidity and tons of layers of texture and complexity.”
