Graveirette Ju de Vie 2023

Julien Mus founded the The Domaine de la Graveirette in his hometown of Bédarrides after studying in Beaune. They have been certified biodynamic by Demeter since 2015 across all their parcels. We were introduced to this gentleman's work by his French importer Gregoire Montot. As we and our customers have been impressed by this gentleman's work with Châteauneuf, we took a gamble on this Vin de France from vineyards near his home village in Vaucluse.

This is a blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Marselan, 20% Merlot, and 10% Mourvedre, vinified and aged for 10 months in concrete tanks. The nose opens with ample amount of blue and black fruits with earth, cocoa, pepper, and other mixed spices. On the palate this is a touch heavier than moderate in weight with blueberries, black cherry, cocoa, black pepper, and baking spice to finish. MK D&M Tasting Notes Feb 2026
