Tellier Las Massalles Extra Brut Champagne 2020

This is a blend of 55% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Meunier, and 20% Pinot Noir that was raised in an oak barrel for 8 months. After a little over three years on its lees, it was disgorged with a dosage of 3.5 grams per liter. The nose opens with hazelnut, yellow plum, citrus, and a light suggestion of brioche. The palate is moderate in weight with moderate acid and a flavor set of nut, oak, brioche, tree fruits and a bit of citrus to finish. The dosage, when we first tasted this off the boat, is a bit disjointed, but should integrate with a handful more months. - D&M TASTING NOTES (MK, 06/2024)
