TASTING:  “Venteuil, 2018 Rendez-Vous Nº7 revolves around meunier from Venteuil, a sun-exposed terroir on the right bank of the Vallée de la Marne where clay-rich soils usher in maturity. Sourced exclusively from the 2018 vintage, it is the culmination of a rigorous selection based on purity of fruit and balance of acidity. Its refined floral bouquet (evocative of lindens and sweet vernal grass) evolves into lusciously delicious fruit essences, from poached cherries to fresh pear and pomegranate. Exquisitely paired with chestnut-cream filled puff pastry brioche or a risotto with clams and green asparagus tips.”
