Jacquesson Cuvee 747 Extra Brut Champagne

This is composed of 75% 2019 with the last quarter made up of reserve. It is a blend of 45% Chardonnay, 31% Pinot Noir, and 24% Pinot Meunier, sourced from some of the finest Premier and Grand Cru villages in the Valley of the Marne and the Cote de Blancs. This was primarily aged in large oak vats on its lees before going through the Champagne process. There is a tremendous sense of presence to this Champagne that reminds that some of our customers consider this their 'baby Krug.' The nose opens with a fun and complex mix of stone fruits, citrus, apples, delicate barrel / bois, chalk, bake shop, mint, and white peppercorns. The palate has a great texture to it with flavors of bois, citrus, apple, hazelnuts, and a just there chalk note to finish. This blossomed in the glass, so this will be better from 2025 through at least 2035.

With a subtle dosage of 1.5 gr/l, Cuvée N°747 reveals a remarkable complexity accentuated by the mineral notes distinctive of the terroirs of Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers and Champillon. The whole is structured, balanced and lingers for a long time. Champagne House Notes
