Vincent Roussely 2022 VdF Orange Wine

Sauvignon Blanc. This is made of Sauvignon Blanc that spent a little over three weeks on its skins. The nose is classic skin contact white wine with aromas of orange peel, apricot, and just there citrus pith. The palate has white wine tannin for sure but well balanced by good acidity and flavors of candied orange peel, yellow fleshed stone fruits and clay minerality. D&M Tasting Notes

Vincent roussely is the fourth generation of the family to make wines at this beautiful 8 hectare vineyard site in the heart of chenonceaux on the cher river. since 2007 he has farmed his vineyards by hand machine and horse and as a result has seen the health of his vineyards, swards and grapes improve immeasurably, which naturally has a direct influence on the wines he produces.
