Tre Monti Petrignone 2019 Superiore Riserva Sangiovese

This is a delightful dark and deep Sangiovese. The nose shows a mix of deep blue and black fruits, savory herbs, forest floor and black flowers. The palate has good acidity and a lovely depth of flavor with acidity, blood orange, blue and black fruits and a persistent mineral finish. D&M Tasting Notes

Produced from vines planted in 1968 in two vineyards; Vigna dei Fichi & Petrignone. Hand harvested grapes are macerated and fermented on their skins for up to 25 days in stainless steel fermenters. After pressing, the wine is aged for 6 months in 500L puncheons. Importer Notes
