Trail Marker Wine Co. 2017 Quink Vineyard Chardonnay

Santa Cruz Mountains, Santa Cruz Mountains. This is produced from a vineyard site in the Santa Cruz Mountains planted to the Mount Eden Clone of Chardonnay. The nose shows a bit of apricot with lemon and a very well integrated oak note. The palate is moderate in weight with a great texture that calls to mind beeswax, the flavors that come to mind are citrus, apricot and oak with an amaro like citrus pith element as well.
