This continues the 'red alpine water' tradition that Jura Trousseau is known and loved for. The nose shows a light raspberry, strawberry, and a lovely light minerality. The palate is light and pretty with low acid and a flavor set of bright raspberry, minerals and a just there ASMR amount of earth. D&M Tasting Notes
Created in 1998, this 6 hectare estate, conducted in sustainable agriculture, modernized its winery in 2005, in particular by equipping it with automatic thermoregulation. The creation of a cottage in 2016 brought the operation into notourism.
Located in the heart of the Jura mountain in the village of Arbois, Michel Faudot is a descendent of 135 years of family winemaking. While he doesn't adhere to organic standards he comes as close as he can on the 12 hectares vineyard. Domaine Martin Faudot is: 5 grapes (Pinot Noir, Trousseau, Poulsard, Chardonnay and Savagnin), 17 wines, and 7 categories (reds, whites, vin jaune, sparkling, sweet, fortified and eau-de-vie), not to mention dozens of varietes of smoked charcuterie hanging in the cellar.
