Spirit Works Distillery Gin

Aromas of coriander, orris root, citrus and cardamon. This is fairly dry, but the fresh citrus comes through on the round, creamy mouth feel. D&M Tasting Notes

Each batch of our gin starts with whole grains of Hard Red Wheat. It is the distinct characteristics of the grain that create our round and slightly sweet base spirit. This base is classically infused with juniper berries, to which we add both traditional old-world and unique California botanicals. While our exact recipe remains proprietary, you will notice notes of coriander, citrus and cardamon. Some of theses botanicals are macerated directly in the pot of the still to invigorate flavors, while others are hung in the neck to gently characterize the vapor. Distillery Notes

Negroni 

1.0 oz. SWD Gin

1.0 oz. Campari

1.0 oz. Sweet Vermouth

INSTRUCTIONS 

Add all ingredients to a bucket or rocks glass. Add ice and stir briefly. Garnish with an orange twist.

Spirit Works Martini

2 oz Spirit Works Gin 

1oz Dry Vermouth 

Grapefruit bitters 

Lemon Twist. 

Combine gin and vermouth into a mixing glass filled with ice and stir. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Add a dash of grapefruit bitters and garnish with lemon twist.
