Sky 2014 Mt. Veeder Zinfandel

Napa Valley. This, like storybook, is an old school Napa valley Zinfandel producer. The nose shows eucalyptus and sweet cherry with a bit of volcanic minerality. The palate has some presence to it with forward cherry flavors balanced by light spice, loamy earth and a raspberry lift on the finish. D&M Tasting Notes

Sky Vineyards strives to incorporate sustainable practices into the cultivation of the vines and operation of the winery. We have been farming organically for over a decade. Responsible practices include use of permanent cover crops, dry farming, promotion of birds and beneficial insects, minimal water use at the winery and a diminutive carbon footprint. Sky is off the power grid and relies on solar panels and minimal generator use to power our activities. Winery Notes
