Ridge Vineyards 2021 Magnum Geyserville Red Wine

This is a blend of 76% Zinfandel 16% Carignane, 6% Petite Syrah and 2% Alicante Bouchet. The nose opens with ample amounts of red and blue fruits that is very well balanced by violets, cooking herbs, and some oak spice. The palate is just shy of moderate and quite easy to love with flavors of blueberry, red plums, and sweet cherries balanced by violets, oak, and savory herbs. Delightful now, but would recommend a good decant. D&M Tasting Notes

Tightly focused and briary, this blend offers density without weight. Presents plum and blueberry flavors accented by dill and green peppercorn as this builds tension toward medium-grained tannins.
