Nue Wilde 2020 Flocchini Vineyard Pinot Noir

This comes from the Flocchini Vineyard in Sonoma. The nose shows a bit of a savory note up front with raspberry, strawberry and a bit of a gentle earth note. The palate is just shy of moderate in weight with mostly red fruits and just there spice. D&M Tasting Notes

Ben Herod formerly of Oro en Paz, is the owner and winemaker of Nue Wilde, a new label from this esteemed veteran wine professional. He sources from organic vineyards and his approach is minimalistic which allows his wines to give the drinker a sense of place from where the grapes come from.
