Mommenpop Meyer Lemon California Aperitif

Female Founded. This is very much a California aperitif wine through and through. The organically grown Chardonnay from the North Coast while the Meyer Lemons are from a single farm in Sebastopol. The grape distillate comes from Lock and Union in Napa. The lemons are macerated in the wine for 4-6 weeks and this has a total residual sugar count of around 30 grams per liter. The nose shows a lifted floral note with vanilla, tarragon, and of course lemon. The palate has a zippiness to it with the citrus, vanilla and tarragon balanced very well to a just there delicate sweetness. D&M Tasting Notes
